Our story

Why SikaDaily exists

SikaDaily was created from real-life experiences, not theory. The founders grew up in families working in Ghana’s informal sector, where hardworking people often struggle to access fair financial support despite their efforts. In Ghana, about 80% of workers are in this sector, yet they have limited access to credit, savings tools, and fair financial systems. This often leads to reliance on predatory lending that can cause financial stress and loss of dignity, something the founders have personally witnessed in their communities. SikaDaily was created to respond to this problem, with the goal of making saving simple, fair, and accessible. The mission is to empower everyday Ghanaians, restore financial confidence, and provide tools that protect dignity and support real-life financial growth.
